• Prayer is the key that unlocks the door of God’s treasury
• Prayer puts a sword in our hands when we encounter evil
• Prayer can open the door of Heaven
• It is a friend in search of a Friend. It’s shameless persistence
• It must become a relationship with God that is more intimate and binding than any human relationship on earth. As your relationship deepens, He will take on that more intimate role of your LOVER.
• Prayer is simply talking to God
• Giving thanks.. before and after you pray! “In everything Give thanks” It takes Divine faith to thank Him in advance. We tend to first mention our failures and mistakes, but save that for later. Great prayers in the Bible reveals that many of them begin with a song of praise and thankfulness. Be definite and specific.
• Praise. Praise is an instrument of violence, not intending to compliment God. Praise is the ointment that dis-annuls the growth of suffering, confusion, and turmoil. Praise destroys the atmosphere in which sickness, defeat, and doubt flourish. Praise breathes life in to the vacuum which death produced. The resulting tornado of “praise power” will demolish the obstacles erected by sin, self, and Satan.
